MEd in Practical SMA in Practical Skills Therapeutic Education with the Ruskin Mill Centre for Practice (RMCP). To start in 2022 and open to both staff and external applicants
This is an exciting new strategic development for Ruskin Mill Trust. We are in the process of registering, with the Office for Students, the Ruskin Mill Centre for Practice which will apply to gain taught degree awarding powers.
Once completed, we will offer our own validated degree, the MEd in Practical Skills Therapeutic Education. However, whilst we traverse the OfS process, we are seeking collaboration with an identified university to create a partnership in order to validate our MA in Practical Skills Therapeutic Education. The MA will critically explore and examine the function and impact of the Seven Fields of Practice.
It will be a taught course of conventional structure (part-time over three years), aligned with the UK Framework for Higher Education Qualifications: 180 credits at Level 7, six 20-credit taught modules and a 60-credit dissertation or research and practice project.
